This Privacy Policy explains how Dutchies to be – Learn Dutch with Kim (“Learn Dutch with Kim”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you use the Learn Dutch with Kim online school, our website, online courses, digital learning materials, community features, AI-powered learning features, and other products and services.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential information or unnecessary personal information about yourself or another person through AI-powered learning features.

We do not intentionally request or require special categories of personal data, such as information concerning health, religion, political opinions or sexual orientation, as part of our ordinary services.

People working for or on behalf of Learn Dutch with Kim are instructed to follow our internal requirements regarding responsible AI use, personal data, confidentiality and human review.

We do not sell your personal data. We use third-party service providers and platforms to operate and deliver our services. Depending on how you interact with us, these may include providers of:
- Course hosting and learning services: Teachable and Quizlet
- Website and hosting services: Webflow and SiteGround
- Email marketing: Kit
- Payment services: Mollie and payment providers made available through our course platform
- Accounting, invoicing and financial administration: Paperdork and GetGekko
- Video and live communication: Zoom, YouTube, Vimeo and Telegram
- Email and business communication: Google, including Gmail
- Analytics: Google Analytics, where enabled
- AI-powered learning: Teacher AI and related technology providers
- Internal AI-assisted tools: providers of general-purpose AI tools used for authorised business activities
In addition, personal data may be shared with or accessed by:
- People working on our behalf: We may provide employees, virtual assistants, freelancers and contractors with access to personal data where this is reasonably necessary for them to perform their work for Learn Dutch with Kim. They are required to handle personal data confidentially and in accordance with our instructions and applicable data-protection requirements.
- Legal authorities and professional advisers: We may disclose personal data where required by law, necessary to comply with a legal obligation, or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.

When you interact with an AI-powered learning feature, the information you submit, such as questions, messages or language-learning responses, may be processed in order to generate a response and provide the relevant learning functionality.
You will be informed where you are interacting with an AI system where required by applicable law.
AI-powered functionality may be provided partly or entirely by third-party service providers. Depending on the service, these providers may process information submitted through the AI feature in accordance with their applicable privacy terms.
Please do not enter sensitive personal information, confidential information or unnecessary personal information about yourself or another person into AI-powered learning features.
If you choose to create a separate account or paid subscription directly with an external AI provider, the processing of personal data in connection with that separate account or subscription is governed by that provider’s privacy policy.
Use of AI within our business
We may use AI-assisted tools to support activities such as creating and editing educational or visual materials, administrative tasks and other business operations.
We aim to minimise the personal data processed through general-purpose AI tools and, where reasonably possible, use anonymised or non-identifiable information for these purposes.
People working for or on behalf of Learn Dutch with Kim are instructed to follow our internal requirements for responsible AI use, including requirements concerning personal data, confidentiality and human review.
